Description
Supervises and coordinates the activities of hotel service workers.Tasks
Ensuring the smooth running of all hotel services and the maintenance of a high level of service by staff by supervising all aspects of hotel services and ensuring that staff carry out their duties appropriately.Determining staff work requirements and allocating duties to the relevant departments.
Maintaining staff attendance records and rosters.
Liaising with senior members of staff and making decisions about resources including finance and staffing levels.
Assisting in the effective running of the hotel as a business.
Dealing with complaints from guests and disagreements between staff.
Performing front office and hotel reception duties in smaller establishments.
Assisting with the management of hotel conference facilities where applicable.
Explaining and enforcing safety regulations.
