Description

Develops, implements and evaluates risk management policies and programs, trains employees in occupational health and safety procedures, monitors and audits the workplace, and records and investigates incidents to ensure safe and healthy working condition

Tasks

Preparing strategies, developing internal policies and operational procedures, and leading in-house training with managers and employees for health and safety issues and environmental risks.

Conducting regular site inspections to check that policies and procedures are being properly implemented, documenting findings and making recommendations and/or changes to working practices to increase safety and compliance with legislation.
