Plans, directs, or coordinates the selling, buying, leasing, or governance activities of commercial, industrial, or residential real estate properties.Tasks
Maximising the income and value of a portfolio of residential and/or commercial and/or retail properties through management of operations, acquisitions and dispositions.Overseeing all advertising, marketing, negotiations and contracts related to property leasing.
Being responsible for all liaison and communication with tenants, clients, brokers, the public and local communities, and establishing mutually beneficial relationship with these groups.
Ensuring the efficient and prompt collection of rentals.
Managing and controlling the income and expenditure budgets of the property portfolio, benchmarking the portfolio's cost structure and implementing budget efficiency improvement measures.
Maximising lease income through analysing tenant and retail income patterns, and conceptualising reconfigurations to optimise income growth and capital values.
Supervising the facilities management of properties in the portfolio and undertaking property inspections.
Managing all maintenance, revamp and upgrade-related issues including obtaining quotations, appointing and managing service providers.
Attending to all legal matters related to management of the property portfolio, and ensuring legal and ethical compliance with industry standards and codes of conduct.
Being responsible for all related administration and book-keeping, and writing and presenting management, budget and valuation reports.
