The Learnership - Property Practitioner requires that you are an employee of an Estate Agency with at least one registered Full Status or Principal Estate Agent with more than three years' of work experience, acting as a mentor. In addition you need to be registered with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) as an Intern Estate Agent. Maintaining a signed Portfolio of Evidence is an important part of this learnership. Completion of the learnership provides you with a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Real Estate (Level 4).

Before you can register with the EAAB as a Full Status Estate Agent you need to pass the Professional Designation Examination for Non-Principal Estate Agents (PDE 4). The FETC: Real Estate Level 4 as well as the signed Portfolio of Evidence are requirements for admission to the PDE 4.
