Description
Performs routine tasks in setting up, operating and dismantling a drilling site for extracting oil, gas, mineral ore and water.Tasks
Assisting in the moving of drilling rigs and equipment from site to site.Setting up in the new site and connecting power cables or hoses for water and air supply.
Assisting drillers with all drilling processes.
Operating equipment such as pumps for air, water and mud.
Mixing and testing drilling fluids, chemicals and grout.
Assisting in obtaining high-quality drilling core samples.
Assisting with slotting, welding and inserting casing screens.
Assisting with well development and pumping tests.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment, and carrying out routine maintenance and repairs.
