Description
Prepares standard tax returns and provides administrative support to professional tax practitioners.Tasks
Assisting accountants with basic administration duties related to tax and tax calculations.Keeping records of value added tax (VAT) on sales transactions, production processes or articles produced, and assisting with VAT returns.
Assisting with calculations of pay-as-you-earn (PAYE) and unemployment insurance fund (UIF) payments due on wages and salaries.
Keeping record of taxes due and rebates paid.
Working on the South African Revenue Services (SARS) e-filing system to submit tax returns.
Undertaking other accounting related clerical tasks as required.
